A Quietly Proud Moment: Cleo Judd Featured as a Top Female Life Coach

When I found out I’d been featured in Digital Reference’s List of Top Female Life Coaches, I’ll be honest I was surprised.

It was completely unexpected, and once the surprise settled, I felt quietly proud.

Building my coaching business has been a real labour of love. It has taken time, training, courage, self-belief and a lot of behind-the-scenes work. So to have that recognised externally feels very special.

Digital Reference included me in their curated list of female life coaches, highlighting my credentialed professionalism, strong client feedback, relatable and transparent communication style, and the trust and authenticity I bring to my coaching work. While I don’t do this work for recognition, it does feel lovely to pause for a moment and acknowledge how far I’ve come.

Why this recognition means something to me

My journey into coaching didn’t begin with me having everything perfectly figured out, quite the opposite.

Before becoming a coach, I spent 15 years in the corporate world, managing challenging workloads, strong personalities and experiencing first-hand the realities of stress and burnout.

As a sensitive person, an empath, a perfectionist and an overthinker, there have been times when life and work have felt like far too much. I know what it’s like to live in a state of overwhelm, and what it feels like to hit the self-sabotage button; to overwork, to avoid, to isolate, and to rely on unhealthy coping mechanisms just to get through.

For a long time, I felt detached, stuck and lost. I was surviving, but I definitely wasn’t thriving.

That was when I made the decision to seek support from a life coach, and it completely changed my world.

Coaching gave me space to stop, reflect and reconnect with myself. It helped me understand who I really was, what mattered to me, what lit me up, and why boundaries were so important for my peace, happiness and wellbeing.

It opened up a whole new way of thinking. And eventually, it inspired me to train as a coach myself.

The kind of coaching space I believe in

I truly believe in the power of coaching because I’ve experienced it from both sides.

For me, coaching is not about giving people the answers or telling them what to do. It is about creating a kind, supportive and compassionate space where people can hear themselves more clearly.

Many of the people I work with come to coaching because they want to reconnect with themselves. They may not always have one neat problem to solve, but they know something needs to shift. They want to dedicate time to their own personal growth, understand their needs and values more deeply, and build a life that feels happier, more meaningful and more aligned.

My role is to guide and support that process.

Sometimes that means helping someone untangle their thoughts. Sometimes it means exploring confidence, boundaries, self-trust, purpose or change. Sometimes it is simply about giving someone permission to put themselves first.  Whatever brings someone to coaching, my hope is that they leave feeling clearer, more grounded and more connected to themselves.

A moment of gratitude

Cleo Judd featured by Digital Reference as a Founder to Watch in 2026 in their Best Female Life Coaches list.

Being featured by Digital Reference feels like a really lovely moment in my coaching journey. It is recognition of the experience, training and care I have put into this work, but it is also a reminder of why I started in the first place.
I became a coach because I know how powerful it can be to feel truly listened to. I know what can happen when someone gives you the space to pause, reflect and come back to yourself. And I know how life-changing it can be to move from simply coping to living with more intention, self-awareness and trust. So, I'm feeling quietly proud, and very grateful.
